Composer and self-taught pianist. André Barros, has now spent over a decade creating original scores, mostly within the contemporary, neoclassical and chamber music genres, with hints of electronic sounds. His journey began after completing a two-year degree in music production in Lisbon, followed by a three-month internship as a sound engineer at Iceland's Sundlaugin studio, renowned as being the home of Sigur Rós. Today, with nearly 40 IMDB film credits, André has released six studio albums, frequently composes bespoke music for global brands, including Volvo, LG, Stihl and Renault, and has worked on music for theatre, modern ballet, neoclassical and contemporary dance. His collaborations include acclaimed dancers and choreographers such as Peter Chu, Roger Van der Poel, Adam Blanch, and Nicolas Ricchini.
